Aftercare and Follow-up

Expect light to moderate swelling and redness (like you’ve been crying, with a heavier eye makeup look) for 2 days following the procedure. Sleep with your head elevated the first 2 nights to help reduce swelling.

Days 3-4

Swelling decreases with a tight feeling. The pigment begins to lift away from the skin. There may be a “pinching” feeling. Some itching is normal as the skin begins to flake. DO NOT pick at it.

Days 5-21

Blinking movements of the eye usually removes all pigment by this day. Color is somewhat grayish and will take a few more days to clarify to full color. Eyeliner color may disappear completely.

Days 21+ (Weeks 4-6)

Healing complete! Depending on your skin type, environmental factors, and body chemistry, a second procedure may be needed to achieve the desired results.
